EARLY NEW YORK PAINTINGS

I painted almost exclusively from life until 1998, when I moved to my current studio in Brooklyn, New York. Here I stopped working from life and began painting from my imagination, which is how I work to this day. These are a few of the paintings I made in my first year in New York.
